The fair, scheduled to start at 9 a.m at Golden Valley on Feb. 24, is held in partnership with Sulphur Springs and William S. Hart School Districts.

“Our school superintendent, Dr. Kawaguchi, came up with the idea,” said Ken Newton, a teacher at the Fair Oaks Ranch Community School, who is helping orchestrate the fair.

Students at Fair Oaks Ranch are helping to organize the daylong event as well, many of whom got involved through the school’s Falcon Television Network, which televises the news once a week.

“This is the second annual event and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever,” Newton said.
