Firefighters Rescue Person Stuck In Senior Living Center Elevator

 Firefighters were called on the scene for the rescue of an individual stuck in an elevator at Atria Santa Clarita Senior Living and Memory Care on Friday morning

Firefighters were called at 11:04 a.m., and on scene by 11:17 a.m.

The three-story elevator was stuck during a power outage the facility was experiencing late Friday morning.

Beginning Thursday night, high speed winds have caused power outages throughout the Los Angeles County.

The Individual was rescued by 11:40 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

  1. I realize there was a power outage there yesterday for over 8 hrs. However, my father and two female residents were stuck in the elevator for no known reason two weeks ago. They rang and banged and when no one came my dad used his cell phone and fire came pretty quickly.
