Deputies were alerted about a suspicious vehicle in a shopping center parking lot on the 26800 block of The Old Road, and upon investigating, they discovered the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of stolen goods, according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials.
The suspects, in their 20’s through 30’s, were found to be in possession of at least a dozen credit cards that were not in their names, mail that didn’t belong to them, methamphetamine and burglary tools commonly used to break into group mailboxes, according to officials.
Deputies arrested all four adults on a range of charges, including vandalism, theft, possession of narcotics and conspiracy. The suspects were booked and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The Sheriff’s department is advising the community to call the station at 661-255-1121 if anyone witnesses suspicious activity near mailboxes.
“Be a good witness and try to provide a detailed vehicle description and/or description of suspect(s),” said Sheriff’s officials.

That address is in Stevenson Ranch, 4 miles south of Castaic. Apparently the sheriff’s news release writer does not have Google Maps, or they think everything west or I5 is Castaic
