Three Santa Clarita Girls Volleyball Teams Competing In CIF Southern Section Quarterfinals Tonight

The CIF Southern Section Division 3 No. 4 Hart Indians put their five match unbeaten streak on the line in the quarterfinals tonight against the Cypress Centurions, while Trinity Classical Academy and Santa Clarita Christian remain alive in Division 8.

Division 3

4 Hart (23-5) vs Cypress (22-4) at 7:00

Hart goes on the road for the first time during the playoffs after sound victories over St. Paul (3-1) and Citrus Valley (3-1) at home and riding a five match winning streak.

Cyprus also comes into the match hot, winning 16 in a row (last loss was September 4th).

The winner of this game faces the winner of Alemany/Long Beach in the semifinals on Saturday.

Division 8

3 Santa Clarita Christian (18-4-1) vs Villanova Prep (13-5) at 7:00

SCCS is one of the hottest teams in the division (10 match winning streak) and reach the quarterfinal round for an impressive fifth consecutive time.

The winner of this game faces the winner of Trinity/Rancho Christian in the semifinals.

Trinity Classical Academy (17-9-1) vs 4 Rancho Christian at 7:00

Trinity faces its second straight top ten opponent in Rancho Christian, winners of 14 straight games.
