Firefighters are currently battling a house fire in a rural part of the Santa Clarita Valley, near Agua Dulce, Los Angeles County Fire Department officials said.

First responders received the call about a house fire in the 30000 block of Tick Canyon Road shortly after 4 p.m., said Supervising Fire Dispatcher Peters.

“It was reported about 25 minutes ago,” he said. “We had some difficulty making access.”

By the time firefighters had arrived, Peters said, the two-story home was fully engulfed in flame.

As of 4:30 p.m., the fire had not spread beyond the house.

There is no word of any injuries as a result of the fire.
