Santa Clarita victims of the Las Vegas shooting may be eligible for aid by the California Victim Compensation Board, according to officials.

All of California’s survivors impacted by the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas can now apply for help from the state.
Assistance is available for family members of those who were killed, anyone who was injured and those in attendance at the concert, as well as their immediate family members, according to the CalVCB website.
Victims of the shooting are eligible for mental health treatment, medical expenses, funeral and burial assistance and more.
CalVCB can also help victims and their families apply to both the California Victim Compensation Program and the Nevada Victim Compensation Program to maximize the benefits available in each state.
Las Vegas shooting victims and family members are encouraged to apply now, regardless of whether or not expenses have already been incurred.

The California Victim Compensation Board provides compensation for victims of violent crimes who are injured. Among the crimes covered are domestic violence, child abuse, sexual and physical assault, homicide, robbery and vehicular manslaughter.
