In celebration of the arrival of the new wine of the year, Le Chene will be having a “Beaujolais Nouveau dinner,” or a traditional French meal that marks the end of wine harvesting season, said the restaurant in a statement.
The celebration is held annually on the third Thursday of November, when wine lovers can finally proclaim “Beaujolais nouveau has arrived!”
In honor of the French tradition, the restaurant has invited guests to taste the 2018 George Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau, along with a specially prepared three-course meal to pair with the wine from this year’s harvest, according to officials.

The event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. with tickets selling at $60 per person, which will cover the cost of the wine, food, tax and tip, according to restaurant officials.
A second Le Chene event planned for November kicks off the holiday season by serving a specially prepared dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, beginning at 2 p.m.
In addition to its regular menu, entree specials will include turkey and roasted goose, both served with traditional Thanksgiving trimmings, according to event organizers.
Bottles of Juan’s Red Wine, Claudia’s Grenache Wine and Beaujolais Nouveau will also have special pricing for this day only, according to officials.
