The event will take place on Saturday, April 16th at 7 p.m. at Vincenzo’s Pizza, located at 24504 Lyons Ave.
Last November through their successful show “Thanks-KiK-ving,” the band raised money and food items for the SCV Food Pantry.
Comprised of twin sisters Kalia and Keeli Javan, the band hosts six to eight shows per year, and at least two of those are fundraising events.
“It’s just so much more fun when you’re doing what you love, and at the same time you know that it’s helping our community,” said Keeli Javan.
Kalia, the lead vocalist and keyboardist, performs center-stage while her sister Keeli plays the drums.
“We would hear announcements after the mass that there will be a bake sale, or some other fundraising to benefit the two seminarians, Richard Lee and Jonathan Nestico,” said Kalia. “So we thought ‘hey, why don’t we raise funds for them in one of our concerts,’”
