After 51 years, Mary Kay skincare, makeup and body care products are constantly being reformulated and modernized to cater to the needs of both female and male clients of all ages.Mary Kay In Santa Clarita ‘Not Your Mother’s Mary Kay’

“Mary Kay has come so far,” Geraci said during a radio interview with KHTS AM-1220’s George Cummings. “It’s not the same ingredients as before, so it’s all changed and it’s all updated. Every year the company looks at where we need to be– what’s the latest and greatest that’s gonna change our skin.”

While some people may still associate the cosmetic company with old-fashioned or overly frilly trademarks, “it’s just not like that,” Sharits said, adding that several of her friends were hesitant to try the products at first, but changed their minds after a few uses.

“I would (tell them to) just try it, and they would,” she said. “And they would be like, ‘This is so different than what I remember.”

One modern feature of Mary Kay is their men’s line, which is not only geared toward men with its ingredients, but with its packaging as well.

Santa Clarita residents who may need guidance selecting or using products can get some extra help from Geraci, Sharits or their professional makeup artists, who can offer clients advice on choosing makeup, color-match foundation and teach about skincare.
