The event was hosted by The Cole William Larsen Foundation from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and aimed to give back to the T.A.P.S. and Wounded Warrior Project.
“It’s all about enjoying the day for a good cause,” said Christi Larsen, mother of Cole Larsen and founder of The Cole William Larsen Foundation. “It gives people an avenue for people to donate towards a good cause and just let their heart dictate what they want to donate.”
The annual tour is self-guided and hosted by the gardeners themselves.
“The main thing is the gardens need to be shared,” said tour host and gardener, Colleen Shaffer.
The event also offered participants the chance to listen to seminars from landscape contractor, Jane Gates, see trees that boast multiple fruits from one tree with Tony and Monica Stewart and win prizes from a raffle.
Each garden had a donation container and all net proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project, T.A.P.S. and the The Cole William Larsen Foundation.
