Mother Of Three Accuses Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Deputy Of Sexual Battery

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed to KHTS that they are considering prosecution of a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputy who allegedly pressured a mother of three into sex in exchange for protection from her ex-husband.

“A case was presented to our office regarding Deputy (Josh) Clark and it is under review,” said Greg Risling, a spokesman for the District Attorney’s Office. No charges have yet been filed against the deputy.

The mother of three allegedly received a number of sexually explicit or lewd text messages from Clark, who then pressured her to have sex under the assumption that he would provide protection from her ex-husband, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Santa Clarita woman had been turned away on previous occasions when she had come into the station to report her ex-husband because she had lacked the “proof” that her former spouse was violating his restraining order, according to a civil lawsuit she filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last week against Clark and the Sheriff’s Department, alleging sexual battery and emotional distress.

On Dec. 12, 2016, while in the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station once again seeking help, Deputy Josh Clark allegedly offered his services to protect her and her children, giving the mother his personal cell number.

Officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said they gave the case to the District Attorney’s Office in September after conducting an internal investigation.

“All allegations of this nature are taken very seriously by the Department,” said Capt. Darren Harris of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. “Upon being made aware of the allegations, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department began an immediate investigation.”

  1. Most officers have negation skills. Two years ago an officer Dividian broke my ribs on purpose. Then i found out he picks up on woman he thinks he can. All of the santa clarita sheriffs dept take masses amount of steroids which makes them very aggressive. Officer Dividian I hope to meet you alone for some payback. All you sheriffs are too horny & too aggressive with no social skills.

  2. The news said that the deputy admitted to knowing her…did they have a dating relationship and it went sour?
