Kaiser Permanente officials talked about how the medical facilities and services have steadily grown from its first Southern California location with a handful of doctors in North Hollywood more than 60 years ago, to the more than 10 million patients it services today across the country.

During the tour, offices illuminated by large windows, an outdoor walking path and colorful walls highlighted the soon-to-be open facility.

The 64,000-square foot location displays nearly finished office interiors and exteriors and the adjacent parking structure is still being worked on.

The location was designed for comfort and convenience of its patients, officials noted, promising easy care alternatives like phone or video visits from home with doctors, express check-in kiosks and engaging doctor visits.

Kaiser Permanente officials also touted their surgical teams, specialty services, pharmacy and urgent care with high-tech tools for personalized care.

The Santa Clarita medical offices will be open in conjunction with the existing location that will also continue to provide primary and specialty care.

The new Santa Clarita facility is located at 26877 Tourney Road in Valencia.
