A $5,000 reward for anyone that will come forth with any valuable information that may lead to details in the disappearance and current whereabouts of Cierzan is on the March 28 agenda.

“The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station believes no new information will develop without
community assistance,” said the item.

The Valencia man was first reported as missing when his wife came home shortly after speaking with him on the phone Jan. 26 and discovered he was no longer there.

Cierzan has been described as a homebody, someone who enjoyed watching golf, working at Six Flags and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau officials confirmed blood was found inside of the Cierzan residence.

William’s wife, Linda Cierzan, said that she had spoken with Will just hours before discovering his disappearance and had told her he was making dinner, when she arrived she discovered Will missing and the food still on the stove.

“For anyone that lives in Santa Clarita, please take a moment to look at Will’s picture and try to remember where you were (January 26)” said Cierzan’s sister-in-law, Rosemary Flores, at a press conference. “If you can think of anything that might help will please call the (Missing Persons Bureau) as soon as possible, we all want my brother in law to come home safely.”

Investigators were able to confirm that another relative was at the Cierzan residence earlier that day and that the relative had been reached and at this time is not considered to be involved.

Cierzan’s wife did note that in her previous conversations with her husband the day of his disappearance he never mentioned the relative being present.

Surveillance video shows a car matching the relative’s description leaving the house that same day, and investigators are currently working to enhance the video.

Anyone with information regarding a missing person can contact the Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide/Missing Person’s Bureau at 323-890-5500.
