Update: Teenager Killed In Single-Vehicle Traffic Collision On Bouquet Canyon Road

The victim of the fatal single-vehicle traffic collision that occurred on Bouquet Canyon Road, south of Spunky Canyon Road, on Monday morning has been identified.

Elena L. Kramer, 19, of Leona Valley, lost control of her 1999 Ford Mustang for an unknown reason at approximately 8:25 a.m. on the 34900 block of Bouquet Canyon Road, according to a California Highway Patrol news release.

Her vehicle drifted left onto the dirt shoulder of the road, then collided with a tree.

Once on scene, both Los Angeles County Fire Department and the CHP officials began rendering aid; however, Kramer suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on scene at 9:22 a.m., according to CHP officials.

No one else was injured in the collision and the next of kin was notified on scene.

  1. Too many fatal accidents recently. We need more sheriffs on the roads in Santa Clarita. So sad and mostly speeding and running red lights. We need the cameras back.

  2. I drive this road five days a week to work and back. Bottom line is no amount of guard rails are going to prevent accidents. SLOW DOWN SLOW DOWN SLOW DOWN This is not a freeway, if you want to drive 65+ miles head on over to the 14.
