Sheriffs and Fire department officials responded to fatal crash Wednesday, near Magic Mountain Parkway and Tourney Road.

Fire officials received a call about a two-vehicle collision between a white SUV and a semi-trailer truck, around 12:06 p.m., according to fire officials.

Medical personnel arrived on scene at 12:13 p.m. One patient was transported from the scene in an ambulance alone.

Officials at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station stated that a white male had a medical episode this afternoon and rear-ended a big rig vehicle. 

Officials are still on the scene, and are waiting on the coroner.
