The 8th annual KHTS Home and Garden Show is much more than just a home show — there are four shows inside one free event, this weekend, April 29th & 30th at Central Park.

The Home and Garden show also includes the Emergency Expo, Earth Arbor Day Festival, Arts and Crafts Fair and Marketplace that features 100 different arts and crafts exhibitors.
“Each year our show gets bigger and better,” said Carl Goldman, KHTS co-owner. “It’s grown over 50 percent since last year with many more fun activities — we’ve designed components to please all ages.”
As part of the Emergency Expo, visitors can experience what an earthquake would feel like in the Shakey-Quakey house courtesy of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Participants can also climb on board fire engines, Sheriff’s patrol cars and check out the Gentle Barn’s emergency trailer to rescue horses. Witness the Jaws of Life being demonstrated by the Los Angeles County Fire Department, sponsored by Valencia Nissan. Watch firefighters tear apart a car to demo the latest rescue techniques.
Kids can also experience the Gilchrist Farm Petting Zoo and check out horses at the therapeutic horse arena.
Visitors can pick up a free mulch and a tree courtesy of the City of Santa Clarita as part of the Earth/ Arbor Day Festival.
Kids can also take home live lady bugs or even touch a snake from the Placerita Nature Center
And so much more will be included in the KHTS Home and Garden Show, the best news is everything is free.

Parents can enjoy hundreds of exhibits of the latest items for you home and yard all from the top Santa Clarita vendors — the show will have over 400 exhibitors slated to demonstrate their expertise.
Trees and mulch will be given out for free starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday a first-come, first-serve basis. Free tomato plants will be given out on Sunday starting at 1 p.m. courtesy of Green Thumb.
Kick off for the event starts this Saturday April 29th at 10 a.m. featuring Santa Clarita Mayor Cameron Smyth, Senator Scott Wilk and Assemblyman Dante Acosta.
It’s all happening at our eighth annual KHTS Home & Garden Show, Emergency Expo, Earth Day/Arbor Day and KHTS Marketplace/Craft Fair at Central Park on Saturday, April 29th (10am-5pm) and Sunday, April 30th, 2017 (10am-4pm). Four mega shows, one location over one weekend. Admission is free.
