In June, Pamela Walker, 35, pleaded not guilty to the murder of her girlfriend Christine Diane McQueen, 46, who was also known as Christine Himmle.

Walker was arrested in April 2017 in connection with the stabbing death.

The two reportedly got into a verbal altercation and McQueen allegedly attacked Walker, according to homicide detectives investigating the case.

Deputies forced their way into the home after receiving a call about the domestic incident and discovered McQueen, who was pronounced dead from a stab wound.

Walker was arrested in connection with the murder at McQueen’s mother’s home in Toluca Lake.

Prosecuting attorneys and Walker’s legal defense are preparing evidence to be presented at a preliminary hearing.

At the hearing, the evidence is presented to a judge, who determines whether there is enough evidence to merit proceeding with a trial.

Walker’s bail is set at $2,020,000. She is scheduled to return to court for a pretrial on Sept. 12.
