Providence Health And Services Offers Grants To Valley Nonprofits

Through the joint efforts of Providence Saint Joseph, Providence Tarzana and Providence Holy Cross,  Providence Health and Services are presenting a grant of $365,200 to several San Fernando Valley nonprofits through their Mother Joseph Fund.

The grants will be presented in the chapel of the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center at 501 S. Buena Vista St., Burbank, CA, 91505 on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

During the ceremony, recipients will also have an opportunity to highlight the work that they do to support those in need.

17 nonprofit groups in the San Fernando Valley will benefit from the grants, in hopes of better serving the homeless, disabled, school children in low-income areas and other groups in need.

This year’s grant disbursement will benefit:

Alliance for Housing and Healing
BCR (A Place to Grow)
Boys and Girls Club Burbank and Greater East Valley
Guadalupe Center for disadvantaged seniors
Child Development Institute
Covenant House California
Family Promise of the Verdugos
Family Service Agency of Burbank
Guardian Angel Catholic School
Kids Community Dental Clinic
MEND – Meet Each Need with Dignity
New Horizons
Olive View/ UCLA Education and Research Institute
One Generation
Providence High School
Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind
