Los Angeles County officials are concerned of possible mudflows in the recent Rye Fire burn areas in the Santa Clarita Valley and other areas prone to slides, such as the canyon communities.
Residents are encouraged to call the stations in advance to check the availability of sandbags at each location. Not all stations are offering sandbags, meaning that residents looking to fill up should bring their own.
