The shield, which is contained in all SeneGence products sold by Lip Candie, protects the wearer’s face from the harmful effects of the sun without the hassle of SPF, according to Stacie Contreras of Lip Candie.Santa Clarita Cosmetics Line Offers ‘Sun Shield’ Makeup With

“SPF will run in your eyes– most people complain about that –and you have to reapply it,” Contreras said. “I don’t know a woman around who’s going to take off her makeup in the middle of the day, reapply her SPF and then put her makeup back on. With our products, you put it on in the morning, and because it’s waterproof and water resistant, it lasts all day and it blocks the sun completely.”

SeneGence foundations also don’t have a dry, cakey or heavy look that can be typical of some drug store products, Contreras added.

True to its reputation as “celebrity” or “Hollywood” makeup, SeneGence products are represented by singer, actress, and “The Voice” coach Christina Aguilera, and the line even contains a signature lip color designed specifically for her, called Blue Red.

“So many of us women love having color on our face; we love having lipstick,” Contreras said. “The problem is it wears off. Our product, when you put it on you, it stays where it’s supposed to– not on your husband, not on your cup.”

Santa Clarita residents interested in Lip Candie products can not only stop by Contreras’ vendor booth at the 2015 KHTS Home and Garden Show on April 25 and 26 at the Valencia Hyatt, they can also attend the show’s Home-Based Business Expo to talk to Contreras about becoming local distributors of SeneGence products.

The free expo is designed to give attendees the chance to learn a variety of ways to legitimately make money from home by meeting up to 26 leading Santa Clarita entrepreneurs throughout the day, without the sales pitch and without any pressure.

“One of the things that I love about this company is its’ endless residual income opportunities; it’s pretty much limitless,” Contreras said. “The company itself is all about their people. They actually listen to what their reps and what their distributors are asking for.”
