Santa Clarita High School Football Scores – October 5, 2018

Santa Clarita high school football is back on the air for Week Seven. Valencia defeats Hart for 34th consecutive league win, while West Ranch moves to 7-0 for the first time.

Hart (0-2, 3-4): 7

Valencia (2-0, 4-3): 34

One unlikely multi-touchdown player and one likely for Valencia–Jake Santos with two rushing touchdowns and defensive end/left tackle Ben Seymour scored on a punt block and as an eligible receiver on a 25 yard screen pass (both in the first quarter).

Valencia cruised in this one for the second straight week, and has now won 34 consecutive Foothill League games dating back to the 2011 season. The Vikings will visit Golden Valley (0-2, 1-6) next week.

Final

West Ranch (2-0, 7-0): 46

Canyon (0-2, 2-5): 14

Jovan (touchdown catches of 37 and 35 yards) and Ryan Camacho (four total touchdowns) doing all the damage as the Wildcats up big on the road at Canyon. Ryan Camacho’s touchdowns have gone for 71, 58, 70, 77 yards. He leads the Foothill League in rushing touchdowns (20) and overall touchdowns (22).

For the first time in program history, West Ranch is 7-0. The Wildcats have a big one next week against Saugus.

Golden Valley (0-2, 1-6): 13

Saugus (2-0, 6-1): 35

Centurions were down 10-7 in the first half and since outscored the Grizzlies 28-3 en route to their second win in a row.

The Saugus defense continues to impress, now allowing just 9.8 points per game.They’ll have their stiffest test of the season next week against West Ranch, averaging 49.2 points per game.

Final

Trinity (4-3): 58

Firebaugh: 8

Trinity scored a whopping 58 unanswered points in the game to dominate Firebaugh and move to 4-3 on the season. The Knights are on a there game winning streak.
