The Santa Clarita Philharmonic, lead by music director Jeffrey Gilbert, will play their third and final concert of the 2015-2016 season this month, with an art exhibit on display before the performance.

The concert will take place at the Hart High Auditorium, located at 24825 North Newhall Avenue, at 3 p.m. on May 15.
There will be an art exhibition by the ARTree Community Art Center at 2 p.m. with photographic, acrylic, watercolor and pastel pieces to be displayed by local professional and student artists before the concert.
The concert will feature the winner of the orchestra’s second Student Concerto Competition in which junior and senior high school students were invited to apply for the opportunity to perform with the orchestra.

In addition, the orchestra will be performing an original composition by Sarah Wallin-Huff, the concertmaster.
The orchestra will also be performing Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Haydn’s Symphony 45, the Farewell Symphony.
The concert is free to the public.
