Power Outages Across Santa Clarita Valley

Over 1,450 residents across Santa Clarita are without power due to electrical failures caused by the Rye Fire, which has burned at least 1,000 acres near Valencia and Saugus.

The following locations are affected by downed power lines and fire related power outages:

Area Affected: Newhall Ave.

3800 people affected

To be restored at 2 p.m.

Area Affected: Newhall Ave. north of Master’s College

1600 people affected

To be restored at 10:30 p.m.

Area Affected: Newhall Ranch Road to the 5 freeway

350 people affected

Unknown ETA on restoration

Area Affected: Newhall Ranch at Golden Valley

1400 people affected

Area Affected: North Copper Hill west of San Francisquito

2400 people affected

To be restored at 3:30 p.m.

Area Affected: Whites Canyon Road near Plum Canyon

3000 people affected

To be restored at 3 p.m.

Area Affected: Whites and Sierra Highway North of Soledad

1350 people affected

To be restored at 3 p.m.

Area Affected: East of Newhall Ranch Road and Railroad Ave.
