The City of Santa Clarita is accepting submissions for art that features, highlights or uses donuts as a design element for an upcoming exhibition titled “Donuts.”

The exhibition will be displayed in conjunction with the city’s annual exhibits program.
“I just thought it would be fun,” said Arts and Events Supervisor Jeff Barber. “I always love to see how creative artists can be with themes.”
From June 5 to July 10, the art is set to be displayed in the first floor gallery of Santa Clarita City Hall.

Artists located in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties are invited to apply before May 16, and all ages are welcomed.
Selections for the art gallery are expected to be made by May 18.
All types of art are encouraged for submission, including paintings, photography, sculpture and mixed media via an online application form here.
The gallery runs along the hallway of the first floor in Santa Clarita City Hall, located at 23290 Valencia Boulevard. It’s open for viewing Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
