Each year, the Legislative Women’s Caucus hosts the Woman of the Year ceremony to celebrate California’s extraordinary women, officials said.
“Jeri’s passion and commitment to the people of Santa Clarita is outstanding and she continues to make an impact on the community each day,” Wilk said. “In 1993 Jeri’s mother, Jean Seratti, was named Woman of the Year for the 38th Assembly District. I’m honored to recognize Jean’s legacy and Jeri’s dedication to the prosperity of Santa Clarita.”
Started in 1987 to help commemorate Women’s History Month, the event has become an annual Capitol tradition to salute community service.
“I’m thrilled and humbled by this amazing recognition,” Seratti Goldman said. “It means so much, and especially because my mom received the award several years ago from (former Assemblyman) Keith Richman, R-Santa Clarita.

Jeri and her husband, Carl, own Santa Clarita’s only radio local station, KHTS AM-1220.
Jeri will be honored during ceremonies at the State Capitol on Monday, March 9.
The 38th Assembly District encompasses Simi Valley, the northern section of the San Fernando Valley and most of the Santa Clarita Valley.
