SCV Law Firm Raising Money To Fight Breast Cancer

The Reape-Rickett Law Firm is raising funds for the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center of the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and encourages people to support the cause, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This October, many have contributed to the Breast Cancer Awareness cause, a national reminder about the importance of early detection in fighting breast cancer.

The Reape-Rickett Law Firm, which set up a fundraiser on the Crowdrise website titled, “The Reape-Rickett Law Firm’s Fundraiser: Fight Against Breast Cancer! Supporting the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center.”

The Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center is a service center of the Henry Mayo Hospital that dedicates itself to providing those battling breast cancer the best and most comfortable route to recovery. Aside from medical treatment, the center provides support groups and a Navigator by the name of Mindy Burgess, who provides support to patients should they be diagnosed.

The Reape-Rickett Law Firm serves the Los Angeles and Ventura area, and is dedicated to making a significant contribution to the center by matching each contribution made dollar-for-dollar.

The goal of the fundraiser was to, “raise the most funds possible to support the women in our valley who deserve support, treatment and invaluable resources provided by the Breast Center,” according to Sarah Cobos, the firm’s marketing director.

Donations can be made on the Reape-Rickett Crowdrise website throughout the rest of October.
