The incident took place around 1 a.m. Saturday, as the victim was being picked up by his friend leaving a bar on the 18300 block of Soledad Canyon Road, according to Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station officials.
The victim was attempting to enter his friend’s vehicle when the argument began outside of the bar.
At some point, the assailant produced a firearm and fired multiple shots at the pair, according to Sheriff’s Station officials.
Two rounds struck the victim’s vehicle as the assailant hopped in his truck and drove away from the scene.
“Both the victim and his friend said they didn’t know the suspect and gave vague descriptions (of the suspect),” said Sgt. Schreves of the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station.
While two spent cartridges were recovered by deputies, the caliber of the ammunition and type of gun has not been released.
At this time, no clear description of the suspect or his vehicle has been released.

Uh, how about the slightest idea of which “Canyon Country Bar” is involved here? There are more than one or two in this town – just in case you didn’t know that.
I’d hate to have to report that after this useless information was provided, I or another member of my family were subject to the same risks of harm that this unhelpful story has provided. Unless the Sheriff’s office has refused to provide this information, you and your station may be responsible for any subsequent harm done at that same location.
Got it?
