Smokehouse On Main, dedicated to bringing the savory smoked flavor of barbecue to Santa Clarita diners, is now open for business in Old Town Newhall.

Under a new owner, Smokehouse On Main — formerly Southern Smoke BBQ and Brewhouse — is looking to serve the community with great food and service.
New owner Cherie McGraham is hoping to reassure the community that the restaurant, known for traditional southern barbecue, has not undergone a major transformation since she has taken over.
“We have our same staff here, same cooks, same great recipes,” McGraham said. “We have added some things to the menu, and we’re also going to expand next door and open up more dining areas.”
Smokehouse On Main is the latest business in the Old Town Newhall area to find new life. A new development on the corner of Lyons and Railroad avenues seeks to bring a movie theater and new businesses to the area in 2019. And in 2015, KHTS Radio moved from Canyon Country to Main Street (celebrating our third anniversary in Newhall last month).
The restaurateur is planning on expanding into the space next to the current location to accommodate more customers as the downtown area grows.
Smokehouse On Main also welcomes those needing to feed a crowd, accepting large orders for parties or events.
