“When your bite is out of balance, it causes your facial muscles to be out of balance, and facial muscles are what control our bite,” said Schweitzer, who explained that our muscles become constricted and constrained, which manifests itself in pain.

You would walk permanently in a very compromised way, and (then) all of your middle leg muscles, hip muscles and back muscles would become compromised and sore. Same thing in your bite, you bite down and your brain says, ‘Hey don’t bite there, find a better spot.’ The problem is that there isn’t a better spot, so every time you bite down, your facial muscles are straining to find a spot, and that manifests as headache pain.”
