  1. Very sad this is happening in this part of our neighborhood. My prayers are with the family of the victim and I hope they catch this idiot that did this. This is just another reason why I believe in my right to carry my gun. Which I have a permit to do. However, it’s issued from another state and useless where I live. Why aren’t we having riots and politicians demanding a ban on whatever weapon was used in this incident? Because we have idiots running this once great state. If thugs knew they could get shot truing to harm rob or do damage to a persons property I doubt they’d get away with as much crime as they get away with. Crimes rates in legal to carry areas are way lower than areas like Los Angeles where its almost illegal to even own a gun, kinda like Chicago. How’s that gun free zone working? Catch this thug and quick so no one else gets hurt.

  2. @ Emmett – You need to read the article again. This victim was stabbed.

  3. How about … what a shame someone was murdered instead of turning every article into a publicity stunt for the NRA?

  4. Yep…..people aren’t very eager to bring a knife to a potential gunfight.

  5. Very poorly written article. I am wondering if there is an editor reviewing the reporting.

  6. Knives don’t kill people, people kill people. It’s a sick world!

  7. Sad fore sure . off the subject but we went camping last week and the campgrounds were full of Mexicans blasting mariachi and the worst part they were just crapping on the ground everywhere they didn’t even bother to dig a hole just squat crap and throw their paper down.

  8. Sad situation, but I tend to agree that a CWP could help reduce the number of senseless attacks on innocent people regardless of weapon used. Ball bat, knife, crow bar, tire iron are all considered deadly weapons if used against a person with intent to harm. Lots of information missing from this article, so no one knows if this was an attack on an innocent victim, or a domestic dispute, robbery, gang related or what. Regardless the reason for the attack, a human being and family member to someone has lost their life and there are people who have lost a loved one. As for the blast on the NRA, nobody mentioned the NRA other than you. Its not about supporting or not supporting the NRA, its about supporting the right to carry. I have never given a dime to the NRA, but feel that we “The People” should have the right to carry.

  9. Geeze we seem to be finding more young male Hispanics murdered all the time. Is it drug or gang related? Probably… now to stop it? People are just getting crazier and crazier we have more homeless and druggies hanging around our valley. Seems that L.A. Cleaned them out and pushed them up here! I also have never donated to the NRA, yet I do believe that an open carry law would certainly make criminals think twice.

  10. Rest in Peace to the man who lost his life. He was someones son.
