Following a Project Based Learning format, and working with the Next Generation Science Standards, teachers guided their students in projects that encompassed Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, which is why it’s called STEAM.

For the third year, students from the Sulphur Springs Union School District are offering all of their Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics abilities on display at the STEAM Expo.

From kindergarten all the way through the sixth grade, students will be showing off their abilities using a variety of tools and mediums such as Lego Robotics, Chromebook, iPads, Bee-Bots and more.

Schools will have these projects on display, as well as much more Tuesday night.

The expo is scheduled to run from 6:30-8 p.m. at Mitchell Community School located at 16821 Goodvale Road in Canyon Country.
KHTS AM-1220 is attending the fair, check back on our Facebook page Tuesday night for a look at our photos and live stream.
