The rock slide was reported near the mountains on SR-14 near the Agua Dulce Canyon Road exit just before 3:45 p.m.

According to CHP records, witnesses saw a vehicle, reportedly a Ford SUV, colliding with the “large rocks” blocking the two rightmost lanes of the southbound freeway.

Officials have not released any information about how many people were in the car or if anybody was injured in the collision.

As of 5 p.m. Monday, the rocks are still blocking the lanes. The California Highway Patrol has not issued a Sig Alert.

Traffic has slowed to a crawl around the site of the crash, as officials work to clear the debris.
