‘Tea And Toeshoes’ Mother’s Day Event To Be Hosted By Santa Clarita Ballet Company

The nonprofit Santa Clarita Ballet Company is hosting a mother’s day “Tea and Toeshoes” event this weekend, offering food and entertainment to Santa Clarita residents.

The event will  take place on Saturday, May 7 at 2 p.m. at the Valencia Country Club, located at 27330 Tourney Road.

The gathering is “a perfect way for ladies of all ages to spend Mother’s Day weekend celebrating love and friendship,” according to a news release from the Santa Clarita Ballet Company.

Attendees of “Tea & Toeshoes” will enjoy a light lunch and traditional tea, served by fully costumed ballerinas.  A silent auction and raffle at the event will support Santa Clarita Ballet’s performance season.

The afternoon features a ballet lesson for young girls, “whimsical” party favors, and a “Best Hat” contest with prizes.

Santa Clarita Ballet Company members will also offer a sneak peek at the June performance of Peter Pan.
