I decided to start “Tracey Hampson’s Home Of The Week” with this listing because, as a realtor, you don’t often fall in love with your listings, but I have to say I did with this home.

Built by architect Barry Berkus, 23531 Stillwater Place is located in the prestigious Hidden Hills community of Newhall. Located at the end of the cul de sac, giving it the best view on the street, it’s no wonder it was what originally sold Julie and Chris, the current owners, on the home. After years of commuting to Ventura, Julie and Chris sadly decided it was time to sell. Their hope is to find a family who will enjoy it as much as they have.

Built in 1987, this Hidden Hills gem features 2,930 square feet of luxury living at its best. 23531 Stillwater Place offers four bedrooms, three baths, an elegant sunken living room, dramatic vaulted ceilings, three-car garage, two fireplaces, plantation shutters, fire pit in the backyard, separate sitting area in the master bedroom, a mini bar (yes, I said mini bar!), easy access off of Calgrove to the freeway — and the list goes on!

If you are looking for a pool home without all the work and upkeep, then you’re in luck!

Tracey Hampson's Home of the WeekHome ownership of 23531 Stillwater Place gives you use of the large swimming pool, spa and two tennis courts for a minimal fee of $230 a month. There is also the 20-acre park for all to enjoy.

The first homes in Hidden Valley were built in 1984, with the final phase finishing in 1988. Originally priced between $218K to $296K, 29 years later, Stillwater is priced to sell at $657K. With the re-invigoration of downtown Newhall, who knows where the home prices will go? I would imagine it’s a safe bet to say they will be going up.

As much as I want this home for myself, I am more than happy to show it to you.  Please contact me for a private viewing.

Tune in next week when I give you real estate predictions for 2017! A little teaser for you… it’s good news!
