Williams, 24, graduated from Valencia High School in 2011 and continued her education at Golden Oak Adult school, where older people with special needs get assistance with job hunting and other practical skills.

“She left for work at The Goodwill at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, and then disappeared an hour later,” said Teresa’s mother, Sharon Bird. “No one has spoken with her or seen her since then, that we know of.”

Williams was last seen wearing jeans, a white polo shirt and an eggshell-colored hoodie with dark spots, according to her mother.

“This isn’t the first time she’s done something like this,” said Bird. “She meets people online and then those people on the internet help her when she does something like this.”

The last time Williams’ actions were similar to this — where she disappears without telling anyone for a period of time — she was later found in Vermont, according to her mother.

In a message to Williams, her mother wanted her to know that “her family desperately wants her home.”

“Your family loves you, and we want you home,” concluded Bird.

Anyone with information about Teresa Williams’ location or where she could be are encouraged to either reach out to her mother Sharon Bird or the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-298-1220.
