The musical performance by the Tom Nolan Band was the second of eight planned performances by some of the top Jazz and Blues recording artists in the world.

“It was very lively,” said Santa Clarita resident Shawn Footit, who added that the event had something for everybody.

A live band played in front of dancing fans throughout the night. Food and drinks were served by several local businesses including Wolf Creek Brewery, Salt Creek Valencia and BJ’s Restaurant and Brewery.

As well as music, the event provided entertainment and activities for the children as well as fundraising for local charities.

“(It’s) a fun and lively experience,” said Footit, “full of people there to dance and enjoy themselves on an otherwise quiet Friday night.”

The next concert in the series will take place on June 1 at 7:30 p.m. on Town Center Drive in Valencia, adjacent to the Hyatt Regency Valencia.
