The staff of Valencia Pharmacy are celebrating their grand reopening at a brand new location, as well as 40 years of business, this week.

Starting today, the entire store– including pharmacy items, medical supplies and wellness center products –is 25 percent off to celebrate the pharmacy’s move to a brand new location on Peachland Avenue.

“There are restrictions, but for the most part, we’ve put our entire facility on sale for 25 percent off to say thank you for supporting us over all these years,” said Fred Elam, the pharmacy’s general manager.
Along with their grand reopening sale, the independently-owned pharmacy’s staff members are also celebrating 40 years of business in the Santa Clarita Valley.
“We pride ourselves on our customer service,” said Tami Oddone of Valencia Pharmacy. “We have not been in business for 40 years without this excellent customer service. It’s our No. 1 goal.”

Pharmacy staffers know most of their customers by name, some of which have been customers since the pharmacy first opened its doors in 1974.
“A lot of customers have been coming to us for two generations– we’re seeing grandchildren from people that were coming to us when they were children with their parents,” Elam added.
In addition to prescriptions, the pharmacy offers a unique selection of medical supplies, including the largest selection of compression stockings in the Santa Clarita Valley, according to Oddone, as well as a wide variety of holistic healthcare products at the onsite Valencia Wellness Center.

“The insurance field is very complicated, very difficult to understand, and we are experts in the billing field,” she said. “It’s definitely a learning curve. Your clients are already confused, they’ve had a lot going on, they’ve got a sick family member… You’re not necessarily thinking clearly to begin with, so we’re glad that we’re able to help people walk through this process and live more comfortable, independent lives.”
