A two-vehicle collision left a car in flames Thursday morning on the junctions of the Interstate 5 and Highway 14, California Highway Patrol officials said.
There were no injuries reported at the scene of the crash which occurred around 12:45 a.m., said CHP Public Information Officer John Lutz. The crash is currently under investigation.
CHP investigators are looking into what took place before the vehicles collided, Lutz said. The incident caused one of the vehicles to burst into flames around 12:56 a.m.

Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters arrived on scene at 1:01 a.m. and the fire was extinguished at 1:05 a.m., said LACFD Inspector Keith Mora.
Witness Rich McClure saw several vehicles racing on the freeway, driving at a high speed before the accident happened.
“There were approximately 20 vehicles racing on the 5 freeway when the accident occurred,” McClure said.

Officials are investigating to see if there is a connection or if speed was a factor in the crash.
CHP officials are investigating whether the occupants of the cars in the collision were a part of the racing that was reported, Lutz said. CHP officials are also looking for other witnesses.
