Westfield Valencia Town Center Welcomes Old Glory Relay Runners Thursday

Westfield Valencia Town Center will host an event to welcome runners from Team Red, White, and Blue’s Old Glory Relay on Thursday evening.

The Old Glory Relay began in Seattle, Washington on Sept. 11 and will end on Nov. 11 — Veterans Day — in Tampa, Florida.

Westfield Valencia Town Center will welcome the team with retailer and military pop-ups, entertainment, health and fitness demonstrations, food and beverage sampling, offers, giveaways and much more.

This free event will be Thursday, Sept.28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Old Glory runners are expected to arrive at about 5:30 pm.

The Old Glory Relay has partnered with Team Red, White, and Blue, whose mission is to enrich the lives of American veterans.

Through their journey, runners, walkers and cyclists want to raise awareness and generate funding to enrich the lives of veterans.

Team Red, White, and Blue will run for 62 days, through 10 states, with a single American flag. Their trip will total 4,600 miles across the United States.
