The event is scheduled for Sept. 7 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will once again be held atop the Macy’s parking garage at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.

The William S. Hart Education Foundation hopes to fund programs and initiatives that cannot be supported by tax dollars alone and to bridge the gap between state funding and current need, according to the Cocktails of the Roof website.

This year, new vendors will be joining existing participants and a new idea, a Wine on the Roof table.

During the event, guests will be able to enjoy music from SOS Entertainment, dance area, private lounges for sale, large public lounges and food from local restaurants.

  1. You may wish to ‘scale’ back that list as the Bonefish Grill permanently closed down on the 13th.
And why have it on the Macy’s parking garage rather than the highly esteemed and much-admired beautiful downtown Newhall six-story parking structure with it’s unparalleled views of the SCV?

  2. Hello Denny,
This is news from a press release that was written prior to 8/13, many more participants have been added and BF was removed. (And we greatly appreciate KHTS as a media partner that continues to share our news.) To keep up with all of our vendors please check here: http://cocktailsontheroofscv.org/our-participants/

As far as the choice of roof: While we wanted to be the first on the new Newhall roof top you mention there were several things that kept us from doing it there. For one, we need a flat space that will allow for the weight of 600 people and our many vendor booths, lounges, trees, dj and dance floor. However, I would LOVE to have that view for our guests. If you are in some way affiliated with the building and want to work with us please contact me directly: Eve@EveBushmanConsulting.com Hope to see you at the Macy’s roof for our 4th year supporting the students in our middle and high schools. Thank you.
