“Helping our youth and homeless is something I have always been about,” said Danica Lynch, Yoga Yoga owner and SCV Youth Project board member. “I am rooted in this community and we have been facing a youth and homeless crisis for some time, so working with these organizations has been an honor and the least I can do is continue to support these leaders.”
During the festival, the community can enjoy guided tours of the Hart Museum and barnyard, poetry presentations, vendors and of course yoga.
More than a dozen yoga instructors are expected to be present for mindful meditation and yoga, all while bringing unity and awareness in the heart of the Santa Clarita Valley, according to Yoga Yoga officials.

“I moved to Santa Clarita in 1978 when I was four years old and this community has always been my home,” said Lynch. “I feel it will be great to bring this community together to serve for a greater purpose.”
While the event is free, vendors will receive a percentage of their sales and the remainder of the proceeds will go towards the organizations.
“I will also be having a booth and proceeds raised will go directly to the cause, as well as Sweet Beams Ice Cream truck,” added Lynch.
The free event is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 16 from 7:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. at William S. Hart Park.
