UPDATE: Road Closure at Sand Canyon & Placerita Canyon Road

Hard Closure of Sand Canyon & Placerita Canyon Road moved.

Regarding the Creek Fire in Sylmar, the hard closure at Sand Canyon & Placerita Canyon Roads has now been moved to the Live Oaks Campground about 1 mile south on Sand Canyon Road going towards Bear Divide. This hard closure will be in effect per the Sheriff’s Dept until 5 pm tonight.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Santa Clarita, Reece has worked at KHTS in the Web department since 2016. First moved to Santa Clarita around the early 2000s, Reece is a person who loves to explore how things work, and easily get immersed into it. When he was first introduced to computers, his mind started to blossom. At a young age, he built his own computer from scratch and is still the fastest computer he has created, and keeps it's hardware up to date consistently over time. Reece is a self-taught person, so he decided to go further into the tech world, teaching himself website development and a little bit of programming during his High School years. Alongside that, Reece also has an interest in Photography, and loves to take pictures with his Nikon camera on occasion. As of today, Reece still lives in Santa Clarita and is currently attending College of the Canyons, where he is planning on majoring in Web Development & Design.
