“Shovel-Ready” Projects Take Center Stage

Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich and the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works are hosting two free outreach events in June to advise interested businesses about available Public Works projects.

The workshop will provide an overview of doing business with the County of Los Angeles, identify upcoming projects (i.e., road, bridge, building, airport, flood control, energy and consulting services), and provide an update on Federal Economic Stimulus Package funded County projects.

The two outreach events will be held locally: June 4, at Fire Station 129 Training Center in the Antelope Valley and June 23, at College of the Canyons.

The events start at 9 a.m and run through noon.
