1,100 Customers Lose Power in Valencia

Power outage was caused by an underground circuit failure

At 4pm Wednesday afternoon, a power outage was reported in Valencia affecting about 1100 Southern California Edison customers. As of 5:45 pm, approximately 300 customers were still without power according to Tom Boyd of Southern California Edison. The outage was caused by an underground circuit failure and SCE crews are working to restore service to the area of Magic Mountain Parkway between McBean and Valencia.
