14 Shuts Down During Fire

UPDATE: Freeway closure lifted at 5:30

[view:node_ad=5]Two small fires ignited off of the 14 Freeway at San Fernando Road. The two fires burned about a quarter of an acre each before being put out by firefighters.

All southbound lanes of the 14 were closed temporarily, however at 5:30pm two lanes had re-opened. Full freeway capacity was expected soonafter.
