21 Year Old’s Voice Propels Her To Dodger Stadium

Get a taste of what the crowd heard when Lindsay Hough sang the national anthem.

[view:node_ad=5]In June, Santa Clarita Dodger Day brought many of our town’s
residents down to Chavez Ravine to enjoy a good game of baseball.

They were also treated to a local 21 year old named Lindsay
Hough, who  was picked by Dodger and City
of Santa Clarita officials to sing
the national anthem before the game.

Pat Downing, the City of Santa Clarita’s Recreation
Supervisor for Special Events, said that choosing a singer was a quite a
process.  “We received 20 tapes and the Santa Clarita Dodger Day Committee
then chose their top 4.  We sent those tapes to the Dodgers and they chose
the winner, Lindsay Hough.”
