80-Acre Brush Fire Contained!

A brush fire that broke out in Saugus Saturday morning was 100% contained as of 1 p.m.

Reported at 10:15 a.m., the fire broke out on Vasquez Canyon, East of Bouquet Canyon Rd. A total of 80 acres burned and no structures were damaged according to Mike McCormick of L.A. County Fire. Calm winds prevailed making it possible to knock this fire out quickly.
