A Day Of Golfing To Help The Hungry

scv-food-pantry-logoWhat could be better than spending the day golfing to help fight hunger in the SCV?  At 7 a.m. on Monday, June 13, at the Vista Valencia Golf Course, the Southland Regional Association of Realtors SCV Division and American Golf Foundation will hold their 25th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the SCV Food Pantry.

The entry fee is $100 and includes breakfast, green fees, carts, lunch, contests, and prizes.  Attendees are encouraged to bring cash for raffle tickets, mulligans, and cheat tape.  Bringing two cans of food to donate will earn golfers a free raffle ticket.

The tournament will be played in scramble format so that beginners and experts alike can enjoy the game.  For those without enough players, teams of foursomes will be partnered up at the event.

Five golf sponsorships are available and come with extra meal and gaming benefits.  Raffle prize donations and volunteers are also requested.

For more information or to get an entry form, call Dawn Zirbel, 661-816-1218, or Erika Kauzlarich, 661-510-3136.
