Leading the seminar will be Annie Schwartz, co-owner of Origin Talent, a boutique talent agency that specializes in building careers, theatrically and commercially. With 30 years in the entertainment industry, Annie has developed and worked with the most talented actors, producers, directors and writers in our industry today.

Students will also work with casting director and acting teacher Michele Juskowitz, who has more than 15 years of experience and work on films such as “Freedom Writers,” “Phenomenon” and “The Sunchaser,” as well as several network drama and sitcom pilots.

Also presenting will be Mark Salyer and Andrea Slominski, founders and co–producing artistic directors of The SCV Theatre Project with more than 45 years of combined professional theatre experience that includes acting, directing and producing.

Because of the overwhelming popularity of Annie Schwartz’ Master Class – The Role of the Agent, The SCV Theatre Project is partnering with Origin Talent to offer an expanded one-day seminar to all junior high, high school and college students in the Santa Clarita Valley who are serious and committed to becoming a working actor. This seminar is meant to assist young, talented students by providing them with a realistic

and informative view of working in the entertainment industry.

The seminar will include discussion of agents, managers, auditions, cold reading, training, headshots, expenses and more.

Registration and check in will be at 1:30 p.m.; with the program from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and questions and answers from 3:304:30. Parents may join in at no additional cost at that time.
