Acton Brush Fire Knocked Down

Los Angeles County Fire department crews have knocked down a brush fire in Acton, east of Biggs Road and Soledad Canyon Road.

The fire, dubbed the “Soledad Incident,”  charred more than 5 acres of heavy brush in the U.S. Forest.

However, with a large delegation of firefighters and calm winds, the fire was doused by 2:20 p.m.

No structures were reported damaged.
